Rob Laux
I have been tattooing professionally for 16 years. My work has become my life and my exclusive medium for my art, although, I still will airbrush canvas upon request. Tattooing to me, is an art form like no other. In my opinion, it's a perfect art. There are no mistakes, perfection is absolutely mandatory and that's what makes it so exciting for me.. I enjoy the challenge. My style is considered by many to be photo realistic and mostly portraits, although, I do enjoy doing all styles of tattooing. Throughout my career I have taken 12 1st place awards, numerous 2nd and 3rd place awards and 3 best of show. My work has been featured in numerous tattoo publications and will be featured in June's issue of International Tattoo ART magazine. My influences are so many to name but I will name some.. Nikko, Josh Woods, Robert Hernandez, Guy Aitchison, Carson Hill, Mike D. (both of them) and many others and have worked with a few of these guys. I use Neuma Tattoo Machines exclusively. They are the most amazing advancement made to modern tattooing. Ben Graves
Ben Graves began his artistic career in 1994 when he started fabricating and designing signs and logos for local businesses.
In 2007 Ben met artist Rob Laux while his wife was getting tattooed, marking the start of a lasting friendship.
Becoming increasingly interested and intrigued by the timeless art of tattooing Ben began studying under Rob as his personal apprentice in 2008.
In 2009 Ben and Rob decided to branch out and change the face of tattooing by opening up Envious Ink Tattoo Studio in Spring Hill Flordia. Now tattooing full time Ben continues to break the molds of "old school" shops offering what can only be described as perfectionism at its finest.
The start of each year brings new hopes, dreams, opprotunities and successes and in 2009 and beyond Envious Ink will surely prove to be one with this truly amazing artist at its helms.
